Lesley Salazar, Bad Decisions Make Good Stories

BIO

I have always been considered a workaholic and the truth is that I like being addicted to work!

Before I graduated from BROADCASTING at FALMOUTH UNIVERSITY OF ARTS, I worked as an event organiser for my father Paco Salazar, who is a well-known event manager in Spain, having worked with artists such as
Michael Jackson, Prince, The Rolling Stones, Madonna and Metallica. So I know first-hand what it is to be multi-tasking, running around and making the biggest boss in the world proud ;)

After my studies, while I was working in an advertisement agency in Spain, I felt I needed to express myself and I started my own online magazine, LES DO IT MAGAZINE.

LES DO IT MAGAZINE has given me the chance to improve as a Journalist, as a Broadcaster and mainly as a person.

I had to learn how to motivate a team and how to go through thick and thin as an entrepreneur.

It has also made me understand what it is like to be the Director of an online media site, allowing me to work in a large range of professional fields such as communication, fashion, music, mass media and arts.

A year after starting LES DO IT MAGAZINE, I created an audio-visual company with three other partners.
We worked with companies such as SAMSUNG, ING DIRECT and FOX SPAIN.

I have always been a digital person but since 2011, my whole world turned into being a communication and digital innovation woman.

After doing a Communication and Online Marketing Master in 2014-2015, I worked with the Digital innovation team of Lebara, where I identified key requirements and developed project plans to increase the revenue and communication engagement of the company.

In 2015, I was involved in the creation of a brand new online community for Lebara.

In 2016 I did a course on Community and Social Media Management that was the last cherry on top to
becoming an online enthusiast.

As a person I am very positive, I continually want to grow professionally.

I never see obstacles, I only spot opportunities.
